Night Shift Maintenance Technician

We are a strong, growing Company and are looking to add individuals in our Maintenance Department to assist us in filling our customer requirements, We offer four (4) day work weeks, full benefit package and a competitive salary structure.
This opening is for the 1st shift and the hours are 7:00PM to 5:00AM, Monday through Thursday with occasional overtime to follow production needs. This position requires candidates that put safety first and demonstrates team work along with company dedication.
Requirements
Candidates must be able to perform the job requirements in a safe manner. Below is a list of some requirements:
- Dependability
- Performs minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs as necessary
- Troubleshoots, inspects, and diagnoses machine mechanical problems and corrects as necessary
- Assists in maintaining inventory to repair equipment and supplies
- Maintains and repairs machinery through preventative maintenance (PM) as needed
- Records maintenance and repair work performed
- Assists in the design and fabrication of tools for production equipment
- Performs inspections of facility and secures the building for the close of the shifts
- Responds quickly in the event of an emergency, notifies appropriate personnel, and follows safety protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Experience with forklifts, hand tools, welders, grinders, and measuring devices
- Basic technical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Peerless offers a competitive salary based on experience in addition to 9 paid Holidays, Vacation after 60 days of employment and full benefit package 1st of the month after 30 days of employment.
