1st & 2nd Shift Production Positions
Description
Peerless of America, LLC is a global manufacturing firm headquartered in Effingham, IL. We are looking to add to our team in our Aluminum Extrusion Press Department to assist us as our customer base grows. We offer a four (4) day work week as well as a full benefit package and a competitive salary structure.
- First shift hours are 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday with some overtime on Fridays.
- Second shift hours are 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM Monday through Thursday with some overtime on Fridays.
Duties include packing and trimming aluminum tubing as well as inspecting the product for potential quality issues.
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Dependability
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read a tape measure and other calibration instruments
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds (sometimes consistently), keep up in a fast-paced environment, and work on your feet all day
- Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively with fellow team members
Compensation & Benefits:
