PEERLESS OF AMERICA INC. was founded in 1912 and has since serviced the automotive, airconditioning and refrigeration industries as a manufacturer of extruded aluminum shapes for heat transfer and as a fabricator of all-aluminum and aluminum/copper heat transfer coils.

We pioneered the use of aluminum tubing in refrigeration equipment in the early 1930's with the introduction of the first all aluminum fin coils for commercial refrigeration. By 1960, Peerless introduced all aluminum fin coils for frost-free household refrigerators.

Manufacturing and Corporate offices are located in Effingham, IL. In addition to being a major supplier to the automotive, domestic refrigeration and commercial refrigeration markets, Peerless of America, Inc. has licensees manufacturing its products in foreign countries as well.
